Today I'm driving on Capital towards downtown going 50 in a 45 so not unreasonable. I'm all the way in the right lane and some guy pulls out all the way in front of me 50 yds up so I immediately lay on the horn and the brakes and luckily he throws it back into reverse with the quickness. I missed him by a hair and slid to a complete stop. My tire tracks are still there and they are at least 20 yds long.

I almost forgot something that happened yesterday.

This woman Asian driver literally made a left hand turn on an extremely busy one way street (at the time) in the wrong direction. Cars were honking their horn at her, and she almost caused a few accidents.

Anyway, she took the next immediate left hand turn and parked in the bike lane (where it is illegal to park). A cop came over and told her to move her car. She got back in her car, put it in reverse, and then BLOCKED the entire bike/moped lane. I never did see her take the right hand turn to go the right direction. I think she eventually gave up.

so last friday, our truck driver cant get to work

since i still have my CDL and all, i end up driving the truck (the one that carries the explosives)

so out on the interstate this fucker in a hummer cuts me off, i flash my lights, and he fucking slams on breaks

i decide to leave it alone, and just back off

down the line, traffic has stopped, and i am in the lane that is still slightly moving, and of course when i catch up to Mr hummer, he comes over into the half a car length between me and the car in front of me

so when traffic starts moving, he gets into the left lane right away and tries to take off, but the car in front of him didnt take off, so he gets stuck

when he tries to get over on me again, i just use the shoulder to get around him, pass the slow car in the left lane, and proceed to pace the slow ass 18-wheeler in the other lane

now i get off one exit earlyfor the job site, just cause i want to get away from this asshole

he follows me up the road, and the first two random turns i make

NOW THE GOOD PART

i call 911, tell them im driving the explosives truck, and i am being followed

when i get to the jobsite (behind a shopping center), Mr Hummer follows me in, and immedately gets surrounded by cops who proceed to get out of their cars with weapons drawn

i get out of my truck, and blow Mr Hummer a kiss, then get to work as usual

when the cops get around to talking to me, i tell them how i feared for my life and all that shit

i truly hope he got to the lockup too late on friday to see a bondsman

i plan on dropping the charges as soon as i hear he has hired an attorney

I was going 50 (speed limit) on Route 9, 30 ft. from a T intersection. This dumb girl that I went to elementary school with came to the intersection and rolled through it, halfway onto the road. She just stopped there, completely blocking my lane with oncoming traffic. She then kicked it in reverse and proceeded to tail me the entire way.

I was driving in to work today, coming down Kaplan from Gorman to connect to Kent. I was about 4 car lengths behind a Honda Odyssey and traveling around 32-33mph. When I was coming around the left hand bend in the road some bitch in a blue Toyota Corolla decided it'd be a good idea to pull out of her driveway (on left side of the road) and get behind the Honda. If I hadn't slammed on my brakes (I also used my horn on her ass) I would have T-boned the shit out of her. Thanks for almost rearranging the front end of my car today you cunt.

i almost got in a wreck last night on the way to trivia at ruckus

i was on gorman heading north just passing the stop light by the gas station at thistledown in the right lane minding my business. well a car started slowing down in the left lane way too quickly to get over to turn into that apartment complex (a pet peeve of mine that i dont like when people slow down in the main lanes when you can slow down in the turn or middle lanes) and i guess the car behind him wasnt paying attention and started closing in on him real fast and was gonna hit him except he swerved over into my lane...thaaaankfully he was right next to me so this caused me to have to pull cat like reactions to swerve over into the grass/shoulder otherwise he would have slammed into the side of my driver door with his front im pretty sure...

it was crazy as i could hear the tires slide one way then i corrected fast as shit and got back on the road all prob within a second, 2 max....the guy who about nailed me stayed far behind me as i was coasting down the hill then back up the hill on gorman before i reached avent ferry...he prob was in double oh shit mode since he must not have been paying attention to the car in front of him and then didnt realize there was a car next to him....


drivers, please to know where cars are around you at all times. if you arent going to pay attention on the roads, please to get off them while im driving. thank you.

forgot to mention a jackass in a black audi with a plate that says something like MAC OSX or something gay like that. He travels Lead Mine Road to Glenwood Ave to the beltline in the am. MOFO thought he had the balls to try go around me and cut me off one morning on the entrance ramp going from Glenwood Ave to 440 whilst I was driving my durango. it's funny to see teh different viewpoints in this thread - seems like you guys are running each other off the road...some people feel justified going under the speed limit, and get mad at being passed, others seem to think it's ok to use their big automobile to intimidate other drivers...both types of people are in the wrong, however. do the speed limit +5, use your blinkers, headlights in the dark/rain, don't tailgate...not that complicated, guys. oh yea, ZERO points on teh license, mad cheap insurance (it's a camry, but still!), and a '95 model car that has never been in an accident with another car.

When one is going slow(er than someone else wants), and one is in the correct lane, where, exactly, do you suggest they go to "get the fuck out of the way"? You people too often do that shit to people who are already "out of the way"; i.e., in the rightmost lane.

Are you sure you are in the position to do that?
The D.A. might want your input, but once the state charges somebody with a crime it's technically out of your hands.

I mean, I can think of a few select situations, but in most cases if you are not actively passing a car, and there are cars waiting to pass you, and you have the time and room to move over there is no good reason not to. And certainly not just because you are already going 10 over so the folks behind you can just wait.

Sunday we were coming back from the beach. We were approaching the 40W/440 split and I was in the middle lane (it may b4 4 lanes there for the exit only lane, but regardless...the lane I was in was next to the fast lane) approaching a slower car.

A BMW was in the passing lane, currently in the process of passing this slower car I was approaching. I was going fast enough that I would have passed the BMW (eventually) as well.

I get behind the BMW to pass the slower car.

Douchebag slams on brakes (I dropped at least 15mph with his antics) and gets behind the slower car just as I came in the lane behind him. I was a good length from him and the slower car so I was able to react, but slamming on brakes was completely unnecessary.

He was on his cell phone.
