TL;DR - Potential series about a young Adama.
As long as it has actual cylons it could be promising. There is no way it's worse than Caprica. 10/22/2010 5:09:40 PM |

This is how I imagine things went...
Sci-Fi SyFy Channel Guy: So we want to milk this BSG thing as much as we can...what else do you got for us.
Ron Moore: Well we can do something about the origin of the Cylons...
SyFy: I like!
::present day::
SyFy: Yeah...we're going to cancel this Caprica thing, turns out space soap operas suck when they're not in space...what else you got for us?
Ron Moore: Well how about a show about the first cylon war, where we know the main character has to survive, know the outcome, know why the outcome came into place, and pretty much just milk it for space battles and sex.
SyFy: Let's do it...oh can we also copy off that Spartacus show? 10/22/2010 5:26:52 PM |

pretty accurate attempt. i applaud you.
that being said. i don't mind knowing the outcome for adama or the human race. there is still room for other characters to be created and die. also, as long as there is sex, space, explosions, vipers, undercover robots, etc...this thing has a fighting chance. 10/22/2010 5:53:35 PM |

i have no potential problem with this series. will watch.
too bad the people responsible for firefly don't share the BSG people's desire to expand the universe. 10/22/2010 7:30:49 PM |

This is probably what they should have done instead of Caprica in the first place.

Caprica had a ton of promise, but somehow they managed to go the wrong direction with it.
Needless to say, I will wait for the overall TWW review before torrenting the show, since I don't have cable anymore. 10/22/2010 11:17:11 PM |
