I have no idea about their GMAT prep program, but I went to school with a few people that took their LSAT prep course and hated it...but their shitty job in one area might not extend to others.

i did kaplan - the classes itself weren't terribly helpful, but paying that much money kinda forced me to have the discipline to do lots of practice exams to make it worthwhile. should do at least a few full practice exams to prepare, preferrably on a computer to get used to the format...

I did - 730, including 99th percentile on the verbal portion

I simply used a Kaplan book w/ CD-ROM from barnes and noble. I did every single exercise on the disk in about a week then took the test a couple weeks later. I scored a 650 on my practice test to baseline before starting the exercises.

I point to the math section improvement - 5 years in the military didn't give me much time to keep brushed up on math and the CD-ROM helped me get back on track.

i was shocked that I scored higher on the verbal than math - I always crushed math on SAT, ACT, GRE. I'm guessing being an avid reader helped out a lot. I found the sentence structure and comprehension to be absurdly easy
