The $60 price tag is worth it just to have a new game where every exploit of the game isn't yet known. As time has gone on with MW2 and BO, it seems that people find small facets of the game that are overpowered to ruin the game.

And sure $60 is expensive, but that's like going to the bar twice with the wife. I'll get many more hours out of MW3.

i'll give MW3 2 months before it's hacked and everyone is running around at Lv.70 with everything unlocked and kill-streaks that don't go away, like the enemy Hind that keeps firing at you immediately after you spawn (all on PSN, of course).

that's kinda what i was getting at with "even more of a head start." by that point i'll have a job (hopefully), so obviously i won't be able to have random days of nothing but xbox like i could a few months ago. if i do single player first, i'll be even more screwed than if i jump into online from the get go

Fortunately this isn't like halo where just have to pop off 3 headshots faster or more accurately. A little bit of coordination and the right gametypes can go a long way for a group of adults playing kids who can't stop and think about what they're doing. My group runs almost exclusively domination. We got up to a 300+ game win streak on modern warfare 2 playing domination with our group of four.
