anyone know of a good spot to get trained?
I looked on the red cross website and its $50 for a day session. Looking to get certified and wondering if anyone on here had any experience with it.
thanks 3/25/2011 10:00:27 PM |

Yeah just check on that red cross website, I've done a few required for work before and they're pretty simple. I prefer the online ones, you can do the review and quizzes on there and only spend 2 hours at the actual training site frenching the dummy instead of the full 8 hour saturday or two night classes. American Heart Association does those, too, look on their website but I haven't tried them. 3/26/2011 7:45:17 PM |

i did mine at NCSU for pretty cheap. Someone on here organized it. She got like 3 of us together and one of the PE teacher's at NCSU taught it. I don't think i was a student at the time.
That being said, I'm fairly certain my roommate did his online recently. That may have been recertification though. 3/27/2011 11:08:00 AM |

I did it through the Red Cross.
Pretty easy class. Just listen, read, take notes, practice on dummies and then you walk out with your certification a couple hours later. 3/27/2011 2:26:23 PM |
