I've noticed a trend that really annoys me... commercial voice overs are being done by people with annoying voices.

Fox has some guy with an awful lisp. 'Coming up neshkst on fahksh'

Subways commercials have a guy with 8 gallons of spit in his mouth.

Why the fuck would they do this?

I am a full-time professional voice actor... and believe me, I would love to take over being the voice of either of those networks. Now I actually know one of the guys that voices stuff for Fox (I know he does all the promos for The Simpsons and Minute to Win It, among other things) and he's great. Others... not so much.

Lobby the networks to have me take over as the voice of FOX!

Hahah I will have to get you in front of the people here at the network...we use some dude in California for our local station commercials and I absolutely HATE his voice. UGH

I'm not sure if its someone/company we have to use, or if they just found the dude, but he needs to get laryngitis soon!

With my job people hear my voice all the time. I don't like my voice that much, but there are people who tell me I have a great voice, especially a good southern accent. Not to thick, but just enough to let you know it's there.

They are from a locally developed MMO called "Fallen Earth." Those are a few of the characters and sounds I did for the game.
