I personally like bmel's tan lines. She also is naturally darker for a whitey so it looks even better on her. IMO.

tan used to be considered ugly, it meant you were poor working in the fields/outside all day. Only the rich could afford to be pale.

i always lose the straps to my bathing suits

it is hard to shoot the basketball or jump off the side with a strapless suit

Tan lines don't "do it for me". I'll say indifferent...unless they are extremely defined tan lines, then no. But light tan lines are ok...nothing special.

I try to stay out of the burn/tan zone because I'm prob on the brink of skin cancer at all times. I do swim outdoors so I'm not always the best at the 50spf sunblock slather so a burn-then-tan is inevitable.

PS- I was told there really is no such thing as an SPF above 30. I guess I use the 50 to feel better about myself.

What if you work 9-10 hrs a day from like 9-7, 10-7, 11-8 or 2-12:30AM almost every day and you don't have time to sit outside to tan??!?! Plus I only get one day off and it takes all day to accomplish what I can't get done the rest of the week. Gotta do what you gotta do.
