Laura Jean Ackerson, age 27, has been missing for a week. Raleigh PD has found her car near 5400 Summit Manor Lane.

Some of you familiar with the local music scene might recognize her as the mother of local artist Grant Haze's two boys. (http://www.granthaze.com/workinprogress/)

From what I understand they were in an ongoing custody battle and her car was found near where he lives (from what I know the last time I talked to Grant)

Laura was a very sweet and beautiful woman. Please send positive thoughts (or pray if you believe in that) that she is found soon and safe.

so the father waited at the meeting place for 2 hours with the kids on friday. either he did her in and is doing a great job continuing his life in an ordinary manner or someone else did her in.
