Archer has won me over the last two seasons, either that or Tenuta makes that much difference. Whatever it is, it is working now that we have a decent secondary. Why people still hate Archer is beyond me. We were 39th in total defense and led the nation in interceptions. When we have been healthy this year, the defense has played well.

You have to admit it's weird for a DC on shaky ground to be publicly lobbying for a promotion. Debbie Yow already forced the s&c coach to resign, I don't think it's a stretch to expect further changes on the coaching staff.

39th put us 4th in the ACC. Plus we led the nation in INTs and were 13th in sacks. 2nd in the nation in turnovers gained next to Okie State. Those don't affect "total defense".
