He was unjustly fired from UNCG, but we can't hire him. The perception alone is awful.

If Gottfried leaves we're given millions of dollars to play with at throw at people. The program has shown signs of life, and it's clear that a capable person can come in here and make waves immediately.

We should be aiming higher than Lutz.

Most of the money that coaches are paid comes from sponsors, compensation packages, so on and so forth.

I think the school on pays Gott 750,000 and he makes 1.95 million.

Now take 3.5 million given to the school, and spread that over a 3-5 year contract. All of the sudden the school is paying 1.5 million on top of compensation etc for a new hire. That's alot more money.

Admittedly I'm not really sure if that's a possibility to just turn around and use the money like that, but if it is that's a big difference.
