The small dealership that was selling it would not do financing, it was a consignment from a widow/family friend... The husband did not die in the car. SECU, however, did give me a used auto loan (they made a bit of a fuss about it at first) that was a 48 month term. I put 10% towards it as a deposit so they would hold it for a week and just handed the dealership a cashiers check for the rest when I got there. Paid off in under 24 months, title in hand

SRT Viper (base model) = Corvette C6 Z06 (base model)

SRT Viper ACR (track model) = Corvette C6 ZR1 (track model)


SRT has not released the ACR version yet. Heck, the 2010 Viper ACR still beats out the latest ZR1 by 7 seconds on the Nürburgring. Of course the Corvette is a bargain in comparison though....

Agreed. In that same article they state that the ACR Viper was faster than the 2013 new Viper as well.

Though FYI the Z06 is considered the better track model. Noticeably lighter than the ZR1

SRT needs to announce a new ACR edition when the C7 comes out. The current ZR1 still can't beat the 2010 ACR.
