I'll bet you $1 that criminality results from living in a bad environment. I bet that if you pulled someone from the worst circumstances and gave them every opportunity they would quickly succeed. Further, I posit that someone from the upper classes, when stripped of all wealth and social grace, will quickly turn to crime.
