I laughed. Julia Louis-Dreyfus was the main reason I wanted to see it. As far as a pilot goes, very nice work (although given Dreyfus' role I imagined it would have higher production values).


It is eerily realistic to how a lot of government offices are run... so at times it just made me sad.

I can't believe that there are actual jobs that people have to get a degree in and apply for to do the type of shit on this show. It is basically glorified babysitting and cleaning up after incompetent imbeciles.

I didn't laugh as much. But it was still pretty funny. The bar was set really high from the premier.

Although the scene with Elaine at the yoghurt shop was funny.

Anybody else think this last episode was a complete 180 from what the normal show is like? The Veep was completely on her game, knew what was going on behind her back even before her staffers did, and everyone around her respected and/or feared her. It was like watching a different show, and uncoincidentally was probably the best episode so far, IMO.

I liked the first episode and hated every one after. I don't know if I just really wanted to like it at first or what but yeah, there are zero laughs in this show. I saw somewhere where somebody said it feels like every single type of joke Curb was making fun of in the Seinfeld reunion shows.
