oh face

and i appreciate warren, i really like him, i just think (personally) that purvis is slightly better...they are both AWESOME freshmen

but neither you, i, or ken pomeroy attend nc state practices, so i'll trust coach gott on who he starts

again, who starts and who doesn't start really doesn't matter

Warren does more while averaging 3 less minutes a game

also, one starts at a position of need, the other plays a position that we have (little) depth at

i just like this argument because it means we have 2 stud freshmen who are competing at a high level as freshmen, which we've basically never had

^^ they're both great, but I wouldn't quite put them on the level as Hodge as a freshman

still hurts to know he lost RotY to Ed Nelson

TJ is on a loaded team. If he had started on hodge's team... it is tuff to say.

not to nit pick but everytime TJ comes out of a game watch him. All the players try to high five him, he ignores them, coaches try to speak to him and he turns away. WTF.

There's nothing terrible about not scoring as long as you aren't taking a lot of shots. TJ plays very much within the game, and if it's not coming to him, like last night, then he won't shoot it.

He could stand to be a little more assertive offensively, but he's playing within the system and team at this point.

I'd Appreciate it if he put his hands in the air while defending in the post

^. This. He let a guy drive on him and had both hands behind his back. 3 feet from the rim. And he neds to fight harder for rebounds. He got his hands on a few and pulled back. Need to fight through the other guy. Get fouls. As long as they are not and ones.

Shots aren't falling like they were earlier in the year. Coming back down to earth a little bit.

Much needed points off the bench. He's less fun to watch, but seems to really have his head on straight enough to make quick points in transition. Purvis is currently too quick for his own good in transition.

TJW saved us last night. Clemson plays defense well and TJW got us some tough baskets. Great bounce back game for himafter the poor UMd showing.

21 points in 25 minutes, 82% from the field including 1-1 from 3.

he needs to put his arms up more on defense and rebound opportunities.

I think his defense has markedly improved from what it was ~10 games ago. Still not perfect, but getting better.

Will be interesting to see if anything comes of it. I hope it turns out to just be a mistake or misunderstanding.

TDT took a potshot at Gottfried on Twitter, TJ retweeted him.

-24 credibility for an "explanation" that doesn't explain anything.

it's a jab at the coach. it's all it could ever be. he's a kid, so he'll say some dumb stuff, but don't try to act like everyone else is stupid for reading what's written in plain english.

eh, the more i think about it, the more i think it really isn't a huge deal. he didn't write it, he just retweeted it. he could have been saying "hey, look at this bitch TDT crying about the coach after he ran home to Belgium because he wasn't good enough to get any playing time".

my initial instinct when i saw it was that it was a bad bad sign.

but at this point i think we're a bunch of grown men trying to read waaay too much into a simple retweet by an 18 year old kid.

whether the RT was agreeing with TDT or a 'damn look what this fool said' deal, who's to say other than TJ.

let's just focus on the misery of another loss at the hands of UNC this weekend.
