it was always - and still is - the right decision for him.

only like 2 posters here ever questioned it that i can recall - e man and ncstatetke. and e man was pretty obviously trolling about it.

lol...that's what people were saying about last year's draft 2 years ago. omg Hornets should tank to get Jabari Parker or Andrew Wiggins, this is easily the best draft since Lebron!11

Nah - it just seemed like a pretty obvious thing...it was pretty clearly the right decision...and always was, right? I mean, feel free to make an argument otherwise. The only reason for TJW to not go pro is because we're selfish and want him at State so he can put 30+ every game and help us win more games. But from his perspective - which is what matters - it was always the right choice to go pro. Dude was a lottery pick...didn't see a ton of PT immediately, but once the Suns were out of playoff contention and looking to the future he saw a significant increase in PT and had a greater role in the team. Admittedly, I didn't watch much PHX basketball this season, but it seems like he established himself on the team as a player with a definite bright NBA future ahead of him.

He made the right move for many reasons and he's going to be an NBA player for several years, but for Christ's sake don't use Summer League stats for sick burns.

Where did you get that from? I stated multiple times that he should bounce for the Money and even pissed some People off on this board by stating that it was wrong that the new NCAA rules make them stay for at least one year. They should have the right to choose if they want to seek employment when they are willing and ready. I only stated that Lacey should have stayed because that was a dumb decision and he had a lot more to gain by being the face of our program for a year than to leave and not get drafted. The Ship has sailed, oh well.

respectable preseason for TJ. averaged 13.7 points and 5.0 rebounds. only shot 45% so still needs to work on that a bit

Suns exercised their option on TJ today through 2017

^ 45% is OK considering that he is still predominantly a mid-range shooter at this point. I watched a highlight reel of him from summer league, and he either hit a jumper or used the glass on every single shot they showed. Impressive considering that most scouts doubted that his game would translate well to the pros. Not so impressive from a highlight reel perspective.

Again, TJ should be getting 30 minutes a game. Now, I am not a complete PJ hater, but I think that he is eating up some valuable mins for TJ.

There is some talk about the Suns trading Tucker depending on how the first quarter of the season goes. They know that they have guys off the bench that can replace him easily.

Lead the Suns in points (28, career high), and rebounds(6) in 35 minutes of play against the Warriors. Shot 12/16... 2/3 from 3.

So.... Plays the Warriors again and ...

Wow!!!

TJ Warren needs to be traded. They don't play him enough. AT ALL. He is the only consistent scorer!

only consistent scorer? lol.

Bledsoe and Knight put up 20+ every night. Teletovic and Leur have been right there with TJ in scoring points over the past month. I love TJ and think hes gonna be a great pro, but come on

lest we forget Thabo Sefolosha started for three years over James Harden in OKC. Harden worked his ass off and got 6th Man of the Year

then James got a $80 million contract and a $200 million shoe deal

Damn that really sucks. Was hoping he would take Tucker's starting spot now that Hornacek got the boot. Inevitably the Suns will start dumping guys like Tucker and Morris which would have meant more minutes for TJW. Maybe next year he will get a consistent 25 mpg.
