700+ hours into this game and not getting a Ghjallahorn is seriously making me want to stop playing it. I have every exotic (minus 2 of the new guns you get from the Elder Cipher) but that fucking weapon. I hate this fucking RNG bullshit.

yeah i got both nightfalls done with 32 randoms ... i think i had 153 kills and a death. on 1

For those of you who do not have a Gally yet... the nerf will make sure you never get to play it in all its glory when you do finally acquire it.

Nerfing the gally because those without it are being excluded from Raids and Nightfalls is pretty dumb when all you need to do is put it up for sale from Xur and let everyone in on the fun.

I'm not too upset with the changes. I'm gonna miss black hammering or ghorning bosses down in 30 seconds but it will change the strategies up and actually force me to use other weapons.

ps hit 3500 grimoire yesterday. dont think ill ever max though I only have like 7/100 rumble wins, 50/250 VIP kills, and 150/250 public events. Not worth the grind that's for sure

here's hoping auto rifles are usable again; my death stats are dominated by thorn/last word/fellwinter/party crasher right now. variety would be nice

They haVe already fixed the ability to camp in the new endgame stuff by teleporting people when they do.


All they did is make me want a gun with shoot to loot.

best gun to the worst gun? dude stop bitching. you can still drop 18-21 straight shots into a boss without stopping to reload. it's still a powerful and handy sniper.

so many complaints about changes which haven't happened yet. there isn't a single boss fight where you NEED a black hammer or NEED a gjallarhorn. my buddy doesn't have either of them still and he is the best PvE player I know personally. this is mostly from reddit but god damn they are up in arms about the changes.

Bungee made it clear that they nerfed black hammer and gally because they did not want people excluding people who didn't have these, mostly from lfg sites. A better way to combat this would be to create better boss battles. These guns were actually uniqe and fun to use.

With that said I really don't have any problem with these changes. New guns will become the new "meta." Everyone just has to find them out once the patch comes out.

if there's any problem with LFG at all... just look at the ToO listings.

at least requesting gjally was an obtainable (though completely RNG...) requirement... my K/D blows in ToO because i can't get a solid team and i was okay with just trying it anyway... K/D will instantly suck no matter how good you are as an individual. playing with some decent guys this weekend i either held my own or came out clutch in several instances

both losses (1 mercy) had one guy red barring almost the entire game and 1 other that would red bar half the time

just got dropped to the main menu and it counted as a freakin loss -- looked like the other team was intentionally lagging. i killed two of them and got a weasel code. can hear my teammates callin out the same guy is now lagging/skipping around

hahah yeah that article is garbage. my destiny experience will not change much from the weapon changes. I do use TLW in crucible but I still snipe (no final rounding). I have other options but when playing against 3 Thorns or 3 TLWs then it doesnt make sense for me to use my favorite weapon in crucible (Vex mytho) cause it can't compete.

I had 8 Primaries when i played VOG hard yesterday and fate bringer FINALLY dropped. (probably my 20th time)

Then, i go back to the tower and there was ANOTHER fate bringer at the postmaster.... It must have fallen at atheon because all i received there was energy and another sparrow.

I don't see how that article is garbage. I've read several others all stating the same things and the general uproar from the fans regarding the update.

I could give two shits about PVP and they can nerf that all they want as far as I am concerned. Nerfing Ghjally, Ice Breaker, and Black Hammer in PVE is bullshit.

I have no reason to grind out for a Ghjally anymore.

the truth is gally is great on a single enemy but ash factory takes out a low level mob like nothing you've ever seen.

So half the health of the praetorian is in it's over-shield and the rest is in it's base health.. so really it only does 30% more damage in that vid.

But yeah i don't have one and i hate that i don't.

they aren't nerfing Ghjally because it is too strong. It is exactly how they intended it to be. They are nerfing it because people are preventing others from doing random raids and POE runs if they don't have it.

there was a non-english screenshot of xur from the week we didn't have a weapon option that showed the gjally icon where the weapon option normally would be. obviously could have been edited in to screw with people, but the suggestion was that bungie had intentionally blocked it out when xur rolled it.

bungie's full of crap either way. they love that people waste hours grinding for something that should and easily could be a difficult exotic bounty. it's their goal at the end of the day (maybe not the devs, but you know it's what the suits want).
