maybe, but I wasn't handed the Presidency on a silver platter only to lose it because I suck, and then go on for seven months (and counting) about it not being my fault

and I haven't committed any federal crimes involving the unauthorized release of classified information

so I've got that going for me

Can you imagine if Trump sold 20% of our Uranium deposits to a Russian company while his foundation was accepting ~$130M from the Russian company owners? Fake News would shit itself.

http://www.cnbc.com/2017/02/16/trump-claims--falsely--that-clinton-gave-russia-20-of-us-uranium.html

Quote :
"The claim isn't true. Between 2009 and 2013, Russia's atomic energy agency, Rosatom, purchased a majority stake in a Canadian company called Uranium One, The New York Times reported in 2015. The Toronto-based firm's mining assets in Wyoming, Utah and elsewhere in the United States account for about 20 percent of U.S. uranium production capacity, according to the Times.

PolitiFact pointed out that 20 percent of uranium capacity is different from 20 percent of existing uranium. Moreover, the State Department was one of nine government agencies that had to sign off on the deals. Other federal and state regulators also had to approve them."

Quote :
"However, Clinton did not represent the State Department on the panel of agency officials who approve deals such as the Uranium One transaction. "

Quote :
"The national security question raised by the transaction at the time centered on whether it would make the United States reliant on foreign sources of uranium, not on the proliferation of nuclear weapons, the Times reported. The United States and Russia had exchanged enriched and raw uranium for years, according to the Times."

Yes, do you see the difference between fake news (NYT) and very fake news (CNN)?

They distance Clinton as much as possible.

Yes she was the secretary of state, but the people that worked for her signed it, not her... Russia and the US trade Uranium all the time

Whereas with Trump... it all ties directly to him. Every circumstantial happenstance 6 degrees of separation that can put "Trump" and "Russia" in a headline together gets sensationalized and spun.

Most of the Russia stuff ties back to Flynn, Page, Stone, Manafort and a few others. Considering Trump has virulently defended them and even acted to slow or stop progress, there is reason to believe it all actually does tie back to him.

Doesn't mean it necessarily does. But indications currently are that it does.

"Russia stuff"

You mean the fake news narrative. The example I gave with Clinton is already more damning than anything the leftists have on Trump.

This vague terminology like "ties to Russia" is only highlighted in Trump's case because of the leftist media's agenda. You apply half as much "RUSSIA" scrutiny to Clinton and it is much, much worse.

The left doesn't help because they didn't want to push the Clinton shit either.

All wrongdoing should be investigated, irrespective of who controls things and who is in politics.

For instance, if you read the report, the Benghazi thing was a very serious fuck up and no one went down for it. The one chick who likely was most responsible simply got reassigned to Canada.

The left didn't want to investigate Bill Clinton. The right didn't want to investigate Nixon. It's a pattern. And every time the parties switch ownership of the office/majority, the roles swap.

Reagan should have been impeached over Iran/Contra.

Hillary should 100% have been investigated over the email situation (so should have Colin Powell) and the right should have accepted the DOJ's results. Trump should 100% be investigated over this Russia shit and no matter what the left should accept the DOJ's results.

The whataboutism is necessary break you out of the narrative framing that the leftist media has stuck you in. You are so obsessed with this Russian narrative that you have lost all perspective on what is or isn't an actual scandal. You have been conditioned to freak out about anything involving the word "Trump" and "Russia". The whataboutism is my attempt to bring you back to reality by using another benchmark you have been conditioned to worship... Hilldawg. It may help you actually put things in perspective.

Romney lost just like all republicans lost in the past years - because of illegal immigration changing the voter demographics from independents to dependents. By the time the orange one suggested a yuge wall it was too little too late.

The hilarious thing is that of all the things Clinton has blamed the loss on, not once has it been herself.

And Comey just gave her another one (Former AG Lynch).

I doubt many Falcons fans posted on NFL forums after the SuperBowl... and when you get to that level of partisan hackery, politics is just pulling for a sports team.

I guess if the Falcon fans were really butthurt they would bitch about the refs for a bit... or if they were catastrophically butthurt they would start a conspiracy theory about Russia hacking the superbowl.

Don't worry goalielax, team #HillDawg will win it next year!

I don't think that any part of that sentence implies that Hilary is like Cersei in any other way or even that Cersei is a hero (or NOT a villain, both)

I was starting to feel bad for not voting for her after that whole DACA thing, but then she released her book reminding us all of the monster she is and I'm back to feeling great again.

Quote :
"Hillary Clinton, in her new campaign memoir, scolds female supporters who later apologized to her for not voting last November, saying she can't offer "absolution" and they must "live with the consequences" of their decisions."

L33T
Quote :
"“The goal is to make you question logic and reason and to sow mistrust towards exactly the people we need to rely on: our leaders, the press, experts who seek to guide public policy based on evidence, ourselves,” she continues."

1984 should have taught us to trust our leaders and the press?

Quote :
""Nonetheless, his attacks caused lasting damage, making it harder to unify progressives in the general election and paving the way for Trump's 'Crooked Hillary' campaign.""

Bernie was too negative

Quote :
"Obama urged her to go easy on Sanders, she writes, which made it feel "like I was in a straitjacket.""

Obama didn't let her attack Sanders
Quote :
""Of course it had an impact," she writes of Russian meddling, describing it as "roughly equivalent to a hostile super PAC unleashing a major ad campaign, if not worse."

Trump is "the perfect Trojan horse for Putin," she continues, and Russia’s "sophisticated information warfare on a massive scale" dovetailed perfectly with the homegrown "right-wing war on truth" of Fox News and Breitbart.

Clinton suggests Obama should have spoken out more forcefully on the issue, wondering if "more Americans would have woken up" if he had."

Thanks Obama

This book should have been titled "What had happened was"

^
obama admin ignored and didnt release publicly the info from fbi about bribery

newsweek:
Quote :
"The Obama administration signed a controversial nuclear deal with Moscow despite prior FBI findings that Russian officials were bribing their way into the U.S. atomic energy industry, according to government documents just published by The Hill.

A confidential U.S. witness deployed by the FBI infiltrated Russia’s nuclear industry and made secret recordings, collected financial records and intercepted emails dating back to 2009 that showed that Moscow engaged in bribery and kickbacks with an American uranium trucking company, documents show.

FBI agents also gathered documents and a witness account that Russian officials routed millions of dollars to ex-President Bill Clinton’s charitable foundation while Secretary of State Hillary Clinton sat on a committee that gave a nod to the dealings with Moscow.

(old story) - https://www.nytimes.com/2015/04/24/us/cash-flowed-to-clinton-foundation-as-russians-pressed-for-control-of-uranium-company.html

this is helpful: https://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2015/04/23/us/clinton-foundation-donations-uranium-investors.html

https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/fact-checker/wp/2016/10/26/the-facts-behind-trumps-repeated-claim-about-hillary-clintons-role-in-the-russian-uranium-deal/?utm_term=.fc49e9c73c51

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Uranium_One

Quote :
"In 2007 Uranium One acquired a controlling interest in UrAsia Energy,[4] a Canadian firm with headquarters in Vancouver, from Frank Giustra.[5] UrAsia Energy has interests in rich uranium operations in Kazakhstan.[6] UrAsia Energy's acquisition of its Kazakhstan uranium interests from Kazatomprom followed a trip to Almaty in 2005 by Giustra and former U.S. President Bill Clinton where they met with Nursultan Nazarbayev, the leader of Kazakhstan. Substantial contributions to the Clinton Foundation by Giustra followed.[5][7][8] The Podesta Group then lobbied on behalf of Uranium One.[9]"

Also, to be clear: The deal was reviewed in 2010, signed by Obama in 2011. The Newsweek article he references states the FBI kept it under wraps during the signing period so it's possible Obama et al. never knew about it, considering that charges were not brought forth until November 2014. - http://www.newsweek.com/fbi-kept-russian-bribery-plot-under-wraps-obama-approved-nuclear-deal-moscow-686660

Either that, or the FBI kept it under wraps at the direction of Clinton/Obama so they could hammer the deal through.

The Washington Post article is key, read that.
