Big Fish - the bathtub scene, in particular, but several scenes in that movie do the trick.

Whew. Big Fish for sure.

I think it would be easier for me to list movies I don't cry during. Hell I cry during some commercials.

I've watched Survive and Advance 3 or 4 times and it's made me tear up a little every time.

The scene in Apocalypse Now when Mr. Clean (Larry Fishburne) is killed while listening to the tape of his mom telling him to "Stay out of the way of the bullets and bring your hiney home."

Walter's (Goodman's) eulogy for Donny at the cliffs.

Clint Eastwood is a bastard.

Million Dollar Baby made my dad cry because my uncle was paralyzed as a teen. I haven't cried in years and years probably because I'm dead inside.

The Pianist... The part when Adrian Brody goes home from the train yard after his friends and family get shipped off to a concentration camp and you just know he will never see them again or even know what happened to them. Also the part when the Nazi officer finds him hiding and helps him live through the war.

Definitely. Damn magic cape.

at my cousin's wedding recently, the best man's speech was about watching Stepmom with the groom and both being in tears.

And the Band Played On.

It was always a private matter that my father died of AIDS (not cancer), so when they played this in HS for sex ed awareness, I would always tear up and run to the bathroom.

I very rarely cry which has always been weird to me. It's not some macho thing, it's just how I'm wired. I will have a feeling of intense sadness but not actually cry. That being said, I still am human and not a robot, so a few instances where I did tear up immediately came to mind:

"The beginning of Up."

and

The beginning of The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey (after the Dale prologue)

The 2nd one probably seems very strange given my intro but it's completely true. It's my all-time favorite book, my dad reading it to me when I was young is one of my favorite childhood memories, the opening line is just iconic to me, and I had waited so long for someone to make the movie. So when they started in with "In a hole in the ground..." I definitely was tearing up.

Of course, I've been fairly disappointed with the hobbit movies so far

The courtroom scene of Big Daddy almost got me yesterday...and it's been a while, but I'm pretty sure I cried during Ink.

Saving Private Ryan, ending. May be the only one. At the end of the day I want to at least know I didn't completely suck at life.

I came in here with the beginning of Up on my mind. It was a brilliant way to open the film and it took less than ten minutes.
