I'm in the market for a golf cart for riding to the clubhouse and what not. Any suggestions or things to watch out for? Looking to spend around $4k.

batteries that were recently replaced would be at the top of my list. if the batteries are older, then the price needs to reflect that. the batteries will not last forever and they're fairly expensive to replace.

Get a cheap one with ruined batteries and motor but looks good build a 72 volt lifepo battery bank.

$4k should buy you a hell of a golf cart, I bought a used one from a place near the beach for under $1k and its still going strong at my mountain house 2 years later
