why don't auto makers use hrs instead of miles? it would surely make it easier to find the vehicles run on the highway vs stop and go traffic.

My 110k miles on a 09 says lots of hours driven.

id say most new GM vehicles have that capability (since what, 2005ish?)

I've never thought to check, but is this something stored in the computer that you can see with an OBDII scanner? I'd assume that the computer stores this, but no idea if it reports it via OBDII.
