Don't forget that it also has actual rubber floormats, an am/fm/cd player, manual windows and door locks. Those are all high demand items. To think he's only asking only $1,500 more than NADA average trade in. Add in another $600 to address the tires, alignment and the iffy clutch and you are only $100 over NADA average retail.

Truck needs new tires and alignment. With 233k it definitely could need some work. Also just because you aren't aware of problems doesn't mean they aren't there.

^um, it might have something to do with this truck not being "clean retail"? Known issues are the tires and alignment. Given the number of miles, I would be suspicious of the clutch and brakes as well. Those are only the unknown issues. I'm pretty sure you wouldn't ever find this truck on a reputable dealer's lot. If they received it in trade, it would promptly be shipped off to auction.

The asking price is so close to retail that you will likely end up higher than retail once you got the known problems fixed.
