If this person has shown he is irresponsible with his carry, then I dont see any reason that he should carry any longer.

I'm also assuming this dude was carrying improperly either in a cheap holster or without a holster, and was carrying a gun that had no drop safety (like any modern firearm should), and was generally not being responsible with his decision to carry.

All the more reason why I think that since we HAVE to have a CCW/CCW class, it should be more instruction than it is.

My friend and coworkers dad just got shot by his neighbor this week. Crazy part is his dad is a super nice guy and the neighbor shot him and another neighbor inside their homes from outside with a hunting rifle. Thankfully sounds like he is going to pull through and not need major surgery. What an asshole and in this case no CCW would have helped.

Like many issues, too many people see this in black and white. Guys like TT who are one side of the "debate" believe that everyone who thinks there should be more control of guns is deathly afraid of inanimate objects and want guns to be "banned", which is simply not the case. I mean, sure, there are some people who think that way, but it blows their mind to think that some of the gun control crowd actually own and shoot guns themselves.
