Eurovision was pretty bad. Although Ja Ja ding dong and the final song are catchy

Damn, didn’t look great, but I thought it could be some mindless action fun.
Still might give it a watch.

I thought Eurovision was alright. Not good enough for repeat watches, but not too bad.

I mean, it wasn’t terrible, but there wasn’t anything cool, noteworthy, or innovative. It’s fine to have on in the background and just look up during the action sequences.

Kind of a Highlander vibe to it. I dug it for a 2 hour action flick. I like Charlize in these recent(ish) action roles.

Early fight scenes where they kind of have that unconscious team unity was pretty cool.

Caught up with Haunting if Hill House, it was excellent. Not very scary but a superb family drama.

Im halfway through Queens Gambit and love that as well

Dark season 3 was as insane as ever and closed out pretty well, even though season 2 finale had me mad

Triple Frontier was entertaining, Project Power had a good premise but poor execution.

Lupin is very good.

I turned on the original French with English subtitles since the dubbed voices didn't match the person's look. was really throwing me off.

^We finished it last night, interesting story and some pretty weird "synchronicities", but I thought the show overall was a little silly. But it does shed some light on how some people will believe and make-up their own conspiracy theories.

Been struggling to try and find something on Netflix of late with little success. Trying Last Kingdom but really not pulling me in.

Challenge I find is I'd prefer a series that is either complete or at least a few seasons knowing it isn't going to just get cancelled. There is so much garbage to sift through it is hard to find what is actually good. Then a few times I've enjoyed something and either the next season taking forever or it gets cancelled. Think Witcher is last thing I watched and enjoyed.

^^we are kind of the same way. We've been enjoying mini-series or shorter series more so than slogging through longer shows.

Though we did binge all of Dexter last winter.

This is Robbery is about the biggest art heist in US history in Boston.

It was interesting, but like a lot of the Netflix docuseries, it was way too long and too boring at times. I think it was 6 episodes, probably could have been condensed into 2 or 3.

Army of the Dead is fine but the zombies are annoying. They cribbed from GOT a little with the smart ones and dumb ones, but more importantly and worse they tripled down on the screeching

^I'm sure someone will gush about how deep and artistic it is, but damn that shit was depressing. It was like reliving the early days of the pandemic all over again. I'm a fan of his generally and there was some clever stuff that made me smile, but no laughs and I ended up just feeling like shit by the end. Maybe that was the point.

I don't even know why I started watching Sweettooth as it didn't really seem up my creek. And now, after finishing season 1, I can't decide if it's good. The biggest problem is anytime a kid appears onscreen, which is often. Kids are just bad actors usually and the makeup/effects are mostly pretty goofy.

One note is I thought this was a limited series, but the season ends very unresolved. I think this is based on comic books, not sure what percentage this season is supposed. I might watch one more season but I wouldn't want to watch multiple more seasons (seems logistically hard too since kids will grow up)

I didn't mind Sweet Tooth, but agree that the kid was easily the worst part of the movie.

Watched "Awake" a couple of days ago.... while I liked the premise of the movie, thought the "cure" was too obvious/dumb, and the ending was pretty awful.

I also didn't "mind" it, but I also don't know I "liked" it or if I will watch a 2nd season. I don't think I'd recommend it ot someome that wasn't already semi interested
