If that's the case, he should attempt more halfcourt threes and dunks from the three point line.

There were a few minutes in the 2nd quarter where both teams couldn't find the basket. Something like a combined 0-11 streak and lots of giveaways. Felt like watching high school players.

The Hornets broke out of it, now have a decent lead.

Yeah it's weird how to classify this series in terms of the Hornets/Bobcats since it has been 2 separate franchises, yet the NBA officially gives the current Hornets franchise all of the records of the original franchise. I can't help but think of the 3 distinct eras of the original Hornets, the Bobcats and the new Hornets.

Huge win, our defense has been night and day between the first two and last 3 games.

Marvin stepped up huge finally. Zeller had some really nice defensive plays, it's nice having his mobility in there.

I feel like kemba is due for a big shooting night in game 6, kinda crazy we are leading the series despite all his struggles so far.

I cringe everytime we post up Jefferson vs whiteside. Lin had a nice passing game and batum coming back gave us just enough energy to tough that one out.

Man, how unfortunate is that raptors comeback now...

We definitely have a shot to finish them. They really need another shooter, we are clogging the paint and they can't take advantage of the open shots on the perimeter.

We couldn't score at all from 2s... we basically need to just keep shooting 3s because nothing was falling from inside the line

Wade got mauled on the Heat's last possession. But it's a meaningless series, so who cares.

Fouled? Maybe. Mauled? Not even close. The refs are rarely going to blow the whistle with some contact around the basket in the dying seconds of a playoff game. If he was mauled they would have blown for that.

I mean...Zeller ran straight into him. And it's not like Wade is Gerald Green...the call should have been made.

Again..pointless series, but it was an easy foul call.

Maybe in a vacuum in the regular season that's a foul, but they haven't been calling that kind of contact at the rim all series. Why should they start in the dying seconds of a pivotal playoff game? Because it's Wade?

Either way it washed out because of the obvious goaltend on the other end that should have been called on him.

Nah...I just watched the highlights and saw an obvious foul on a veteran supserstar that usually gets those calls. I'm indifferent to the results of the game or series.

I guess I'm glad the refs don't subscribe to your belief that Wade should be getting officiated differently than other players then.

He opined that I had money on the game...so obviously he didn't get it.

^^It should have be a foul regardless of the player...the fact that it was Wade made the missed call even more egregious.

Wade tried some weak ass layup when there were like 3 Hornets beside him with their arms up. Wade was pissed because he's been so spoiled with the refs giving him everything over the years.

Kinda like. They all have the same family name. Lee or Li is also a common family name in China.Robert Lee, the gerenal of the South during civil war, is pretty famous.

The signings of Lin and Lee, the two journey men, are the best two deals in recent seasons probably.

It reminded me of Spike Lee, because they're both black.
and Stan Lee, because it was almost super-human (or maybe Bruce Lee, but he's Hong Kongian).

the supposed no-call on wade shouldn't even be a deciding factor for that game. the heats defense in the 2nd half was atrocious like it was for the past 3 games. too many allowed layups and open threes. it's almost like watching an nc state team play defense. p.s. i'm a heat fan.

We bought game 6 tix before the series just hoping we would make it this far. Now I get to see a potential clinching game. That worked out well.

If Lebron gets injured and we shock the world and win the East, that will be 4 teams from the Carolinas who have lost in the championship game this year.

and in case anyone wants to drift down memory lane to the Kemba draft message_topic.aspx?topic=603251&page=11

I thought they guy was talking shit to Wade?? Wade was my favorite until he bitched out when Lebron came to town. Was fun to see him go vintage tonight. Actually saw a few Hornets fans in Charleston tonight...was weird.

Face was all about Jae Crowder too. Kinda gets a pass on that since Crowder showed flashes in Dallas and now is a legit starter with the Celtics. He will never be a star, but a solid 10-12 year NBA guy that was a great value pick in the draft in retrospect.

Face makes some bad calls, but overall the guy knows his NBA.

Called kemba game 6.

Yeah Klay is overrated he's pretty one dimensional but he's also become the best pure catch and shoot guy I've ever seen so that makes up for a lot of deficiencies. It will bend interesting to see how he does without curry against portland. He certainly doesn't suck he's a transcendent shooter.

It took kemba five years but the Guy definitely worked his ass off. He was awful his first year we set the record for worst team in nba history. He was a brickmason

Stayed up all night so I wouldn't miss the game now im tired. Hopefully they just rifle off a big 16 pt lead in the first quarter so I can take a nap before the warriors.

I don't wanna get lulled into a tight game just to watch us suck down the stretch.

Half kidding haha.

I got heat 95-84 in a stinker today. Short rest and we are really banged up. Expecting a poor jefferson performance and kemba to hit the wall since he's gonna have to do it all with batum either out or unable to facilitate.

Kemba i think will play well today but just run out of gas. He's gonna have to do way too much.

Yuck looking like exactly the stinker i expected.

Zeller can barely walk out there he's clearly playing in a great deal of pain. Hard not to like that guy he really came around this year.

Batum is hurt.

Jefferson is borderline done. Lin is struggling. Kemba is putting up a first half no show. Thinking he's just dead, he doesn't appear to be nervous or anything. Kaminsky can't compete on the glass he's a step slow.

Lee the only guy providing much on offense. This thing is all but over, we need an absolute miracle just to get into this game. We should be almost exclusively bombing threes if we can't get layups or wide open looks.

There just isn't enough time left given how many fewer field goal attempts we get
