@WojYahooNBA: The Charlotte Hornets have multiple trade scenarios in play with the No. 9 pick in the NBA Draft, league source tells Yahoo Sports.

Isn't he slightly redundant to MKG?

Batum MKG and Winslow could all switch 1-4 and play a GSW defense

Still couldn't crack 90 points, but wouldn't give up more than 95

Yes. He makes no sense here. You can't play him with mkg, or you'll just have terrible spacing like this entire past season.

wonder what some of those trade offers were now. hornets were obviously in love with kaminsky. hope i'm wrong, but i don't particularly care for picking him here.

Why do you people want them to draft a guy who can't be on the floor at the same time as MKG. Well I mean they could be, but the offense would grind to a halt because there would be terrible spacing.

They made some good moves before the draft. I can only think that they have plans to make more moves with the addition of Frank the Tank.

What's the Bobcats lineup look like? Can't say I'm super familiar with the roster.

PG Walker
SG Batum
SF MKG
PF Zeller
PF/C Jefferson

B Lamb
B Hawes
B Kaminsky
B Biyombo

That's why I know off the top of my head. Winslow would have likely been the better fit.

^^Those 9 and Brian Roberts backup PG.

Just fucking terrible is all you can say. Is Kaminsky better than Zeller? Can't believe we didn't take Winslow.

There's gotta be a trade in the works or something. No way we go into the season with zeller, jefferson, hawes, Kaminsky and biyombo.

I'll stand alone on Kaminsky island if necessary, but I think he's going to be really good for us.

This new NBA is a smaller, more spaced game where ideally you need all 5 players to be able to shoot it from outside. It's not like the league is littered with back to the basket 7 footers he'll have to guard night in and night out so he won't be outclassed on that end of the floor. If anything, he'll be guarding stretch guys like himself. He also has good enough footwork to switch on pick and rolls and not get left in the dust.

If he drifts out his man has to honor that and he opens it up big time for Al or our slashers in MKG and Kemba to get in the paint and do damage. He automatically makes his teammates better just by being in the game because of that. If the guy maxes out his potential, we just drafted Dirk 2.0. Most importanly, he's a RIGHT NOW player. This is no project, he's ready to roll. We wanted to improve shooting and floor spacing coming into this offseason, and with Frank and the trades, mission accomplished.

Finally, this is big al's last season. We just traded Vonleh and Biyambo is going to be gone soon enough too. Big man was about to be a huge problem for us shortly down the road, so credit to Cho for thinking ahead there.

With Batum/MKG/Kemba/Frank/Al and Zeller/PJ/Lamb/Biz off the bench we should be making the playoffs this coming season.

I think you also went to bat for Vonleh last year. I foresee you defending the 2016 Brice Johnson pick as well.

Did I go to bat for Vonleh? I'll go back and check at some point today and see what I said. I definitely didn't defend PJ though, I was livid when that happened.

Switching my allegiances to Minnesota. They may still suck next year, but at least they have this mystical thing call potential. The Hornets' ceiling is a perennial 7th seed.
