Has anyone found that body side moldings do or do not work "as advertised" vs. dings from neighboring vehicles? Given the parking in the Dan Allen Deck, I'm wondering whether the $200 might be worth it: specifically, for a VW Jetta. Thanks.

With the different heights of vehicles, and their contours, they work, but not 100%.
Nothing will totally protect your car from other people.
You can spend $25 on door guards if you are trying to protect other cars from you.



8 years later and I still don't regret failing CH201.... Still enjoyed it though.

Of course. My post was directed towards cost effectiveness, not perfection.

I have given some thought to putting a sign on my car to wit:

I am a Ph.D. chemist. Touch my car, and yours will be completely dissolved (or turned into a biohazard slag).
