If Peyton and his team can get embarrassed in a superbowl worse than any team in modern history then 2 years later be dragged to a championship by his defense while being a bottom 5 QB, I'd say there's still hope for the Panthers.

He's right about one thing though, we'll literally never have a better shot at winning a Super Bowl. A bottom 5 offense that played like one and the game was over well before the clock hit zero. Goddammit.

I think they might have been rated the best defense in history last year... very close if not #1

They'll be in the mix . They are a team I could see going 9-7 and barely making or missing the playoffs but they'd still be a very legitimate threat to win it all.

I don't want anything to do with those guys again if we make super bowl. Don't really wanna see the Patriots though either. This whole norman thing sucks.

I just don't see our secondary holding up for 3-4 playoff games in a row. Sounds like we are looking at donte whitner. He fell off a cliff but maybe he'd be good with our lbs helping

I just have so much trouble watching preseason these days. Teams actual offense and defensive packages are so elaborate now. And they don't want to give anything away in preseason. So you're just watching really vanilla play calling and base defenses that don't really resemble the real sport.

Like we looked like complete dog crap out there. But is anyone really more concerned about the season after seeing that half?

I mean if you have a rookie qb it's worthwhile to see if he's any good. But im not gonna read too much into anyone else unless they leap off the screen with speed.

Kinda unlucky for Dallas that they can't move on from Romo after this year. If they could somehow shed his salary and get away with dak Prescott at like 400k they'd be nasty. How does a team like the Browns not take a flyer on a guy like him or cardale jones... if you save $25m at the qb position he doesn't have to be THAT good to make your team good.

Nah. Romo will come out looking good and throw for around 3,900 yards before getting hurt in mid-November. Dak will be too rough around the edges to lead them to a playoff victory.

Also. Teddy Ginn still can't catch. It must be nice to get by on speed alone.

Based on all reports, he never got his speed back and was scared to push off that knee so he was really ineffective as a WR. Thought he'd bounce back better but looks like he doesn't have confidence in his knee yet.

I don't think he woulda made the team last year I think that knee injury helped him get paid an extra year but we will never know.
