I mean they aren't really pending because the grand jury declined to bring charges against him. NFL isn't gonna do anything like suspend him for a year because of civil suits

his base salary this year is only $1 million, in case he gets suspended

they gave a record contract to a dude who has been credibly accused of multiple counts of sexual assault, yet they couldn’t give any semblance of a contract to a proven QB who protested police violence

it’s all so fucked and perfectly telling of our society as a whole

Dude's 34 years old now. I know QBs can last a long time in the NFL, and by effectively sitting out for ~6 years he should be in tip-top shape, but damn.

While I agree that it’s unlikely Kaep will be any good at this stage…Nate fuckin Peterman remains rostered in the NFL. So there really is no good argument against Kaep. Because the worst QB in NFL history is still tying up a roster spot. And I’m pretty sure Kaep isn’t worse than him.
