If I don’t rub this on my skin, I get the hose again

I am not good at taking care of my skin, but I have never had particularly bad skin in the first place. I rub my face with cold water after waking and before bed. I pat dry with a hand towel.

Once or twice a week, I remember to use a daily face wash with salicylic acid. Sonia recommended a brand called COSRX. I tried to exfoliate with the Exfoliate & Nourish coconut oil scrub by St. Ives, but it made my facial hair feel all crusty, so I stopped using it.

I should probably be using sunscreen every day.

Just recently decided to try to start taking better care of my face. What I'm currently using:

- Trader Joes Enrich Moisturizing Face Lotion with Broad Spectrum SPF 15 (for during the day, especially summer)
- Trader Joe's Nourish Oil-Free Antioxidant Facial Moisturizer (at night, or during winter)
- Honest Amish Beard Balm Leave-in Conditioner (to keep the beard soft and in check)

Trader Joes also has a new Ulta Hydrating Gel Moisturizer, but I haven't tried it yet.

I'm open to other suggestions. I might look into the CeraVe AM face moisturizer with SFT 30 that StTexan linked. I see that they also have a PM (night time) version of it, which is kind of nice.

I have acne skin and I use the products of Luminosity Acne Skincare

https://raleighacnetreatment.com/

The office visit and products are fairly expensive but they do the job. ????

I use their face wash, mandelic serum, benzoyl peroxide, and sunscreen.

Let me know if you have any questions

Not sure if this classifies as skincare, but to prevent bearddruff I use BetterMan and Viking Revolution beard balms, and Wild Willie's beard wash every 2-3 days. Otherwise, if I wear a dark shirt and happen to scratch my chin, you can definitely tell it.

You're not sure whether preventing your skin from drying up and flaking off is skincare?

Bttt

Looking to up my skincare game.

Looking at cetaphil redness relieving daily facial moisturizer, and clean and clear advantage acne control moisturizer. I have combo skin according to google, where places are always oily, and areas are dry to where they get flakey and sensitive.

Essentially need something that can clean and not be oily, but moisturize cheeks/corners of mouth

I recently started giving a shit about my skin. I'm pretty impressed with the difference I've seen so far. I was mainly trying to made the age lines on my forehead less apparent.
-Philosophy cleanser
-Neutrogena clarifier
-Clinique hydrating gel (day) / neutrogena anti-age moisturizer (night)
-Eye stuff - can't remember what brand

I buy my soap locally from Blinking Toad Workshop. Their soaps produce a nice lather and rinse clean.

Once clean, I use Everyday Oil from Black Mountain, NC. This product smells really nice and works as advertised.

In the morning if my face is a little puffy I’ll put on an ice pack while doing stomach crunches. I can do 1000 now. After I remove the ice pack I use a deep pore cleanser lotion. In the shower I use a water activated gel cleanser, then a honey almond body scrub, and on the face an exfoliating gel scrub. Then I apply an herb-mint facial mask which I leave on for 10 minutes while I prepare the rest of my routine. I always use an after shave lotion with little or no alcohol, because alcohol dries your face out and makes you look older. Then moisturizer, then an anti-aging eye balm followed by a final moisturizing protective lotion

Same. I guess lucked out on acne/skin issues and I basically just splash water on my face and whatever ecosystem that's going on seems to have it all figured out.
