that's good to hear. any issues with the interior fit and finish, like rattles and squeaks? gas mileage still 40+?

I wish they would hurry up and release an EV AWD version, or at least a PHEV AWD version, and make it rated to tow the same weight as the gas AWD version.

i cant imagine the range of a full ev trim at this price point to be compelling.

it would be plenty capable. they just won't do it because the range will suck...and maybe they won't want to cannibalize sales of other stuff.

Oh yeah it would be capable, and you could go about 30 miles.

ehh, maybe not quite THAT bad.

...but yeah, I don't need it to regularly go far.

I have no doubt that it you attempt to tow the max payload of a gas version with the electric you're getting <100 mile range, easily. It's the big drawback of battery electric trucks.

Yeah, that's a compromise I could live with. I wouldn't need to tow that heavy, that far, that often.

(Also, range gets killed on gas trucks when towing, too...they just have a little more range to start with, and more importantly, can refuel faster. Plus more gas pumps will accommodate a truck & trailer pulling straight through.)

Yes, but even getting less than 10 mpg in a gas/diesel truck you're still going to have a much, much larger range than a battery electric truck. I don't think batteries will ever be the answer to towing/hauling.

If they came out with a PHEV AWD model I'd buy this immediately

Actually I'd probably do that for any PHEV AWD pickup
