Glad we got an onion call from Rafferty when MOC hit the 3 with like 3 minutes to go. Diarra’s boards were huge and Marquette missing every 3 just about. Last game Horne was off and we won. This game Burns was off and we won. Love how the whole team is stepping up.

Choice was between staying home and watching the game or going to the church for the Passion play. I’m Catholic (converted a couple of years after marrying my Puerto Rican wife), and the Catholic guilt got to me. If I stayed home I figured God would smite me and have the team lose. If I went then God would let them win for me doing the right thing and going to the play with my wife, daughter and mother-in-law.
Glad to see I made the right choice and they won because of my superstition. You all are welcome.

Of course my wife is the first one to say to me “you know nothing that you do actually affects what they do on the court/field.” She just doesn’t get it.
