I drove a base ev6 a few months ago and I was SO bored. I couldn't even tell you which one I drove. It's very upsetting to see the Stinger go, in favor of this thing. If there had been a way to get a Stinger GT2 when I was shopping back in 2013 (I got a 1 year old GS350 F-sport), I would have gotten that instead. By contrast, I could barely even assess the ev6's merits because I was so distracted by the fact that, with the steering wheel and seat adjusted to fit me, the steering wheel rim completely obstructed the speed readout on the dash. I mean... come ON. EVs don't need to accommodate space for a tach, water temp, fuel gauge, boost... You ONLY need to show speed and range. It's ridiculous for those to not be omnipresent. Instead I had an excellent view of the indicator for driver wakefulness.

Doug Demuro drove an ev6 GT and apparently it doesn't even have electric seats. They barely diferentiate it visually. I remember when 575 hp required a cold day dyno test of Ford GT with a supercharged 5.4L that was so imposing the supercharger was all you could see in the rearview mirror, and which so crammed you forward that ... oh f it. BAH HUMBUG. There's gotta be more left to making cars interesting than just putting inch-bigger wheels and slightly different bumpers on a car that your mom will buy as a rwd with 240 hp. This is not hot rodding.
