course :MA 341
course rating :3 - Good
course comments :The class wasn't bad at all. The only part that sucked about it was the Laplace transforms, but that was about it.
class :Spring 2004 section 005
grade received :N/A
class rating :2 - Average
class comments :It was another basic fundamental math class. It was incredibly boring and there wasn't any attendance policy and no homework, so it makes ditching class even easier (not recommended).
instructor :Tran
instructor rating :3 - Good
instructor comments :Silverstein taught this one, not Tran. I thought I would hate this guy at the beginning of the semester, but he didn't turn out too bad. If your final is higher than the average of the three exams, he'll use it as a final grade or something.

course comments :This class is pretty damn hard, but luckily the last math I'd have to take.
class :Spring 2004 section 005
grade received :C
class rating :2 - Average
class comments :Make sure you actually do the suggested problems and keep up with the work, because I didn't and I totally didn't get anything out of the lectures.
instructor :Tran
instructor rating :3 - Good
instructor comments :It was actuallly Silverstein, not Tran. He was actually pretty good. Very passionate about math and all that. I like the way he structured class -- he ended each class with suggested problems, and solved them for us at the beginning of the next.

course :MA 341
course rating :3 - Good
course comments :The material is by no means easy, but, since its all applied stuff, you need only to learn the methods and not necessarily the theory (althougth it helps).
class :Spring 2004 section 005
grade received :A
class rating :3 - Good
class comments :A decent way to finish your math class career.
instructor :Tran
instructor rating :3 - Good
instructor comments :TWW needs to update this, the prof is Silverstein, not Tran. Grades well and teaches well, sometimes lectures are bland.
