| course comments : | hydraulics has some real interesting material...but at the same time some of it is pretty boring...the material is all connected,,,which can be good or bad....some of the concepts get very complex...but most things were able to simplified to smaller equations...but each time we got to a new topic i felt so lost...homework was also pretty hard at times |

| class comments : | kumar gives lots of quizzes...every friday...but you never get them back...so they don't help much...tests are not too hard...but he likes to throw curveballs in there...one good thing is kumar will usually explain how to do every type of problem, sometimes even the exact one on the test...so go to every class
i didnt but the lecture notes...don't know if they help
i suggest reading the book...helped explain a lot |

| instructor comments : | sometimes the class put me on the edge of falling asleep but i never actually did....kumar makes a joke once a week....he speaks pretty clear compared to some other civil teachers....and he is availabe outside of class and flexible with rescheduling a quiz if needed...but he always seemed nervous to talk to me when i went to visit him...but friendly nonetheless |
