I would MUCH rather have this course restructured so first third is intro to NCSU, second third is intro to COE, last third is intro to major. I would have gotten a lot more out of it that way. What they did teach could be squeezed into an 8-hour one-day lecture and two handbooks. |

There are horror stories that go with any other group project.
Our design was fatally flawed, but a few modifications would fix it. Som of the other Nuclear Thickness Gauges were better, some worse (alot worse), but ours was just right. |

| course comments : | Basically every week we had to do a presentation on some discipline in engineering. Very boring class. |

| class comments : | 8:00 am class, so most of the time I was either sleeping or surfing the internet. Class got out early every week. Freshman Design Day sounded like fun, but all our group did was stand by our table for 2 and half hours doing nothing. |

| instructor comments : | Anistratov was a Russian guy who really didn't give a crap about anything. The T/A did most of the work. But, when a group was presenting he would ask a ton of questions. He would always leave early; if he was done teaching and we were doing busy work, he would just leave. |
