Really interesting professor, did plenty of examples, tons of help sessions. The homework he assigns can be pretty hard but it only counts 10% and it makes the tests seem like a breeze. |

| course comments : | Pretty basic stuff about general circuits. V=IR, capacitors, inductors, transformers, transistors. |

Tests were 4-5 questions, pretty easily finished in 50 minutes. Final 8 questions, 2 taken almost directly from each test, 2 on stuff after 3rd test.
Gives problem sets with answers that are useful for studying for test, none graded. |

| instructor comments : | Very slow and deliberate, but generally a good teacher. As long as you go to class and don't sleep through it, you should do fine on his tests. He talks a lot like Bob Ross, and he once spent 10 minutes explaining how to solve 2 equations with 2 unknowns ( :roll: ) - kinda makes you want to skip class, but just deal with it. |

| course comments : | I found the material to be a bit difficult, especially considering I had no background in circuits. I had to work very hard to understand things, but I really think I walked away from this class learning a lot. |

Basically I did bad on the first two tests and then really started to understand things, which allowed me to turn in a good grade on the final. Since this is a class for non-ECE majors, not having a background in circuits could cause some difficulty. |

Not many people liked him, but he did give us plenty of extra credit and curves because he wanted people to do well. He didn't speak english very well and sometimes talked too softly for a big classroom, but overall he was okay. |

| course comments : | Circuits isnt really a like of mine, so im not inclined to give this course a high rating. The course material was not extremely hard, but you have to make sure you have a firm ground in the prerequisites for this course and some of the concepts involved. |

| instructor comments : | Ginger Yu is excellent. She speaks impeccable English without an accent (surprising for her tracs abbreviation- 'DGYU'. She learned every student's name (in a class of about 150), graded tests/ quizzes quickly and returned them within 2 classes at most, and was good at explaining the material to boot. |

All he did was constantly write on the board and not really explain anything, we had like 7 tests + a final, so basically every week you either had a lot of hw or a test to study for, and the tests would always have some problem on there that looked nothing like any examples or hw you did.
