Electronic Energy Converters
Description :
Energy conversion using switched high-voltage high-current diodes, transistors and SCRs in combination with inductors and capacitors. Converter families: rectifiers, phase-controlled rectifiers, line-commutated inverters, dc-to-dc converters, and dc-to-ac inverters. Basic closed-loop control techniques. Sample applications for each family of converter. Substantial independent group design project.
