Name of course : An Introduction to the Honey Bee and Beekeeping
Description : Introduction to honey bee biology and a fundamental understanding of beekeeping management including crop pollination by bees. Examination of the relationships between honey bees and humans from prehistoric through modern times and the behavior andsocial system of one of the animal world's most complex and highly organized non-human societies.

course comments :the class material was very interesting. not too diffucult. Not alot of material except notes in class. no textbook to buy. Lots of extra credit. No homework.

course comments :What a great class. You learn about bees and it is not hard. I thought it would be at first but the tests are a breeze.

class comments :At the end of the semester, you get to go outside and mess with bees AND make honey wine. It is nasty though.

class comments :It's definitely an easy A if you're willing to study a bit. You can slack off and still get a decent grade. Attendance was optional. The tests are kind of hard but if you can get an old one, they're pretty much exactly a like, so study from that. You can get behind if you miss a class, but he has a bunch of notes on the web.

instructor comments :He is a really good teacher -- keeps the class interesting the majority of the time. No attendance -- should be an easy A if you go to class every now and then
