| class comments : | The class was a pretty easy class. Some of the plates that we had to do for hw were kinda time consuming, but other than that it wasn't bad. The CAD tutorials were very straight and to the point. Overall a good class. |

| course comments : | Really easy class if you study and/or listen at all. Also, there are labs for the CAD applications. Material itself is interesting/good to know when you look back on it, but very boring at the time. |

| class comments : | Very, very boring class. So much crap about lines and planes and stuff. Also, there is alot of HW that can take time b/c you have to do these drawings that need to be fairly precise. They are not hard, just take time. The labs were actually kinda fun. You learn the Solidworks CAD package. Also, there is a final project that takes alot of time. You have to model something, you can do anything as long as it has two parts, for example, i did one of those CD spindles for CD-R's. You have to turn in |

| instructor comments : | Boring, but he couldn't help that. He actually made it about as interesting as it could get b/c he has alot of stories. He does alot of work in his field so he can give you examples of things. This also has a downside b/c at times he can be unapproachable outside of class b/c he is so busy. I'd say take him. |

| course comments : | The work was alright. Half of the work was on SolidWorks and the other half was hand sketches. There was one project where you picked some item and did all the things you worked on in class; hand sketches and 3d models of the pieces. |

| class comments : | Attendance policy isn't all that strict. There are lab days and then lecture days. On any given day you may be provided with several work sheets to draft by hand. You also have to model things in solidworks. There was a midterm and a final as well as a multi-part final project. |

| class comments : | Class was split, one lecture/one lab per week. Lecture averages 30 minutes of the time. Work can build up and it is easy to get behind on the lab assignments. Gave extra credit for coming to class every day. |
