| course comments : | Very boring, easy material. elective that satisfies science/technology requirement. |
| class : | Fall 2001 section 003 |
| grade received : | A- |
| class rating : | 2 - Average |
| class comments : | A pretty large amount of work. One ten page term paper and a 3-4 page paper on Stonehenge. The tests werent hard, but they required alot of work if you dont pay attention in the class, which is difficult b/c it is pretty boring. You have to do five ID's on the test out of a possible 30 (at least). The tests also had essays which were sometimes take-home. That doesnt really reduce the amount of work though. |

| course comments : | Id say good because it was interesting, but I just cant help asking WHOOOOOOOOOOO CAAAAAAAARES? I guess that I don't find it fascinating that someone whos been dead for 2000 years had incorrect ideas about science. My kind of history involves people dying and wars and famines and cool stuff. |
| class : | Spring 2003 section 001 |
| grade received : | C |
| class rating : | 3 - Good |
| class comments : | This class was an easy C, if you don't mind getting one. I'd imagine that an A would be difficult to get if you are a busy engineering student like me, because somehow history class just doesn't seem worth the effort when you have so many engineering classes to deal with. Overall, I didn't do jack or attend class, and my requirement is fulfilled. |
| instructor : | Sylla |
| instructor rating : | 2 - Average |
| instructor comments : | She is aware that engineering students come through her class and helps them out. She is boring as fuck and put me asleep for two weeks until i learned to stop attending class. Just read the darned class notes and cram for exams. They are essay exams and are easy to BS. |

| class comments : | If you go to lecture, read the book, read the online lecture notes, and do all the assignments, the class is an easy A. |

| instructor comments : | Dr. Sylla knows what she's talking about, though she might be a little soft-spoken and dull sometimes. |

| course comments : | Great course material. To its credit it even mentioned a few philosophers. |
| class : | Fall 2005 section 001 |
| grade received : | B |
| class rating : | 4 - Awesome |
| class comments : | That grade would not be that high if not due to some kindness on Dr. Riddles part after a medical condition. If he ever reads these reviews again, I want him to know his old philosophy student Jake appreciated it. |

| instructor comments : | His stories make otherwise abstract historical places have a little more flare. He tells history as a story rather than a series of facts. And thank god our motto isn't greek or latin for learning, research, and extension. |
