| class comments : | Optional homework, but that was mostly what was on the test. No attendence taken so its not too bad if you miss a few of the lectures. Grading was done by 4 tests, each 25% of your final grade. The final was not cumulative, just the stuff covered after test 3, but it was by far hardest test in there. |

| instructor comments : | Very boring to listen too, add that with the material you are working with and you pretty much have to do something to stay awake, for me it was the crossword puzzle. Also, the notes he puts up on the board are basically useless it seems. But on the plus side he does usually tell you what graphs and stuff you need to know for the tests. But he is a pretty nice guy and easy to work with. |

| course comments : | course has some good stuff...but lots of stuff where you're like who cares...its like chemistry with an engineering swing....i'm sure a lot of it applies later on....i think with a good teacher this class has the potential to be great |

| class comments : | hare admits he puts people to sleep...and combined with dry material....it will...read the book...do the homework...you won't survive the class on notes....the homework is what test is on...not the lectures....if you miss the lectures you grade won't drop significantly but i felt they helped...at least another time you heard the stuff |

| instructor comments : | Oh my oh my where to begin. Let me just say that no matter what you do, DO NOT EVER TAKE ANY CLASS WITH "JAG" KASICHAINULA!!! Unless you're one of those S&M types that loves torture:
1-Can't speak english worth a damn.
2-Can't write very neatly.
3-Doesn't stay on schedule, which is bad for a class with common exams.
4-Ends up teaching material on the exam, the DAY of the exam, you'll be lucky if he goes over all of it.
5-Pretty hard to negotiate with.
6-That mindless drivel tone of voice |

| instructor comments : | Never ever have her! Very bad teacher. In the class just writes notes, but does not teach anything. on the exams there are problems and you never go over the problems in class...also when u ask for help, you do not get straight up answer! |

| class comments : | Material was presented poorly- notes were just random things thrown up on the board, there were attendance checks, the book is neccesary. Don't count on your professor covering what will be on the test. |

| course comments : | Interesting course, I would take this instead of Physics 1 anyday. There are definetly worse engineering classes. |

| class comments : | You get the grade you deserve in this class. Jag gives 4 exams including the final which is not cumlative. He only uses your 3 best grades as 90% of your grade and the other 10% is little 5 question mult.choice questions quizes in class that he rarely ever gives anyway.
Study for the first 3 exams and go to the final, put your name on it and walk out. Thats what I did, made finals week much easier for me. |

| instructor comments : | The material is kinda boring, read the chapters covered before the exam. Don't bother doing the H.W. that ISN'T collected. Jag has every test he ever gave listed on his website. Some may comment on his accent, you can usually understand him and if you can't, just say something. Honestly, I probably could have goteen a B or B+ w/out ever going to class and just using his online tests and studying the chapters covered before the exams. |
