instructor comments :Bloomfield can't teach. I've been told that he's a fantastic statistics guy, but he just doesn't seem to know how to TEACH. He expects you to come into class having read the book and understanding every concept, but all he does is do applications! He never taught a single concept in the entire class.

class :Fall 2002 section 001
grade received :A
class rating :1 - Bad
class comments :This class was horrible! I wasn't able to learn a damn thing. Showing up for this class was a test of will as was staying awake. The only reason I got my A was that the instructor's practice tests were almost identical to the actual tests. The material was poorly presented if presented at all. Anything I learned about statistics I taught myself.
instructor :Bloomfield
instructor rating :0 - Horrible
instructor comments :Bloomfield is one of the worst instructors that I've ever had. It was as if Bloomfield would go out of his way to talk about anything other than the course material. He was boring and a poor communicator. He was personable enough, just don't expect him to say anything that's actually helpful for passing the class.
