| instructor comments : | I assume this guy must be the best, or at least nicest, chem teacher at state. His teaching method is very clear, and he lets you know what to expect on the tests. The final consisted of old test questions with the numbers changed. He was very friendly and helpful in and out of class. His classes could get a little boring, but I didn't mind too much. |

| class comments : | Neyhart made this class enjoyable. It didn't take a lot of work, I did have to study a lot though. The assignments were web-assign and you could submit 3 times. |

| course comments : | Introductory chem class. If you took it in high school, you're probably not seeing anything new here. There are some interesting concepts presented, but unless you're a chem major, chances are you really don't care anything about this stuff. |

| class comments : | Dr. Neyhart made this class bearable and dare I say...enjoyable? Liberal use of in-class examples made the material much more engaging. I especially liked the four-screen approach to presenting information (PowerPoint, two overheads, and the blackboard). I found this kept me taking notes and being much more interested than just if he had lectured off a PowerPoint. |

| instructor comments : | To me, this is everything you can ask for in an introductory chemistry instructor. Thoroughly presented most material, tried to keep lectures interesting, seemed like he had a genuinely good time teaching the class. He almost always could accomodate you in his office hours if you made an appointment, and worked with you to arrive at the solution when went to office hours. |
