course comments :Great course - should be required for all majors. I had to take it as a business major.

class comments :Learned a lot and definitely improved my public speaking skills. There was attendance taken, but you could only lose points by not completing the in class assignments (there were 6 i beleive). Book not really worth buying.

instructor comments :She was great. Very enthusiastic and personable teacher. She graded everything almost instantly and it could all be accessed via WebCT.

class comments :Difficult as hell compared to other 112 sections. harder tests, longer papers, rediculous pop-quizzes(50%+ getting 0's)

instructor comments :May be enthusiastic, but seems like she grades based on how much she likes you. Thinks that this class is 300 level and that everyone has nothing else to do but cater to her rediculous requests. Also, dont bitch about having to grade stuff when it is all items you assigned and made longer/harder for yourself and us.

class comments :i was expecting more group exercises. an average month would have mostly lectures with maybe 1 or 2 class periods of movies.

instructor comments :avoid like the plague. She wasn't very good at explaining hard material and tests and quizzes in class were insanely hard, considering that this was a 100 level and most of us had read the chapters. go with hemenway or croasman
