| course comments : | Easy class, but a lot of work. The material is extremely useful, so pay attention and make it a point to try to remember as much content from the class as possible. You end up coding better when you try to actually use some basic "engineering" principles do design your software. |

| class comments : | Laurie kept us all busy as hell. Assignments of all sorts (mainly group projects) are due every couple of weeks, and by the end of the semester, you'll have a ton of grades that make up your final average. It's not incredibly hard though. If you make an good effort to participate with your team, and your software ends up working right, you'll get A's. The final sucked though, at least for me. I studied for about 30 minutes and bombed then hell out of it, hence a B+ and not an A. |

| instructor comments : | She's got a good attitude and is nice, but she assigned so much damn work, especially for a 300 level course. and she's the one that alot of guys think is hot. |

| instructor comments : | Spoke less than perfect english, didnt answer questions very well she got confused about what people were asking. Projects were a breeze, quizzes annoying. |

| instructor comments : | She did a pretty good job, but I think she's a little too idealistic. I doubt anyone is *really* going to take what she says to heart. And she tends to blow off people's questions in class. |

| course comments : | The material is anything but interesting. I'd rather be doing anything except memorizing a bunch of junk that I don't care about for tests-- like, for example, the twelve points of extreme programming. |

| instructor comments : | She's nice and it's not her fault that peer programming is annoying. Oh yeah, get ready to write a billion test cases... that's always fun, too. |

| class comments : | This class is a serious pain in the butt. Expect to put in lots of hours, especially on the final project. The tests have little to do with actual code, lots of model drawing and other things I reguard as irritating. Attendance is required and she is quite sneeky about checking it. Taught mostly through powerpoint slides, would have made a better online course. |

| instructor comments : | Boring, boring, boring. When she did teach programming (isn't that what we are there for?), it is in some archaic assembly language that no one but her was alive for. Programs are done in java (wtf, a java OS?). She was easy though. |

| class comments : | Programs were entirely too easy because data structures wasn't a prereq / coreq. How the heck do you explain OS algorithms when people aren't expected to know the data stuctures underlying them?
Weekly quizzes got annoying at times, though it forced attendence in a class that 90% of people would skip otherwise.
This course would make a nice compliment if you are taking CSC316 or CSC326 in the same semester. |

| instructor comments : | Industry adjunct for the semester, so nothing gained and nothing lost. She showed us some IBM mainframe assembly stuff she worked on, which was kinda cool.
I can't complain much about her because it was mostly the course that sucked. |
