| class comments : | The course was pretty easy. There were weekly webassigns that you had 50 submissions to do. There were nto many reminders on due dates so if you missed one then it was to bad and he would drop your lowest. Later you had to update a web page and give reviews and assign grades to other pages. The final was ridiculously hard for the subject matter even though it was open web. There was not enough time to finish it. | class comments : | I took this class so I wouldn't have to take CSC 216. Then I decided to double major in something that required 216, so I changed it to audit. And I'm glad too, cause this class sucked. The professor didn't teach the material needed to be able to the programs, which are due WEEKLY. You are supposed to watch Jason Schwarz's online lectures every week before coming to class and expected to read 50-100 pages in the text. There is WAY too much work required for this 1-credit class. |

| instructor comments : | He was terrible. He could barely ever get the classroom technology to work. When demonstrating code in class, he would get error messages and not even understand why the program didn't compile. Any programming questions are supposed to be directed to the TA. He's a nice guy, but he definitely does NOT feel comfortable teaching C. Avoid this class and this professor. |
