| class comments : | class was easy, didn't really ever half to go... at the same time i didnt feel like i learned a whole lot, and most of the assignments were so open-ended they were a bit confusing. NO FINAL EXAM. |

| class comments : | Boring. I skipped class most of the semester (attendance not required) and still managed a good grade. Assignments were kind of strange... projects weren't very cool. |

| course comments : | The basics of computers. You learn about hardware, software, etc. If you know anything about computers, you can get a good grade in here. |

| class comments : | No attendance policy, and all the notes were online. Needless to say, not many people went to class. There are weekly assignments that take about 5 minutes to complete. Tests are multi-choice with some true/false. Easy course. |

| instructor comments : | Dr. St. Amant was a nice guy who spoke clearly and knew the material well. He knew that the class was easy so he waived the attendance policy and put the notes online. He is a good teacher for this course. |

| course comments : | I was looking forward to this class since it covered material that I am very interested in. The material was not hard and overall was very itneresting. |

| class comments : | The class started out hard wtih a programming interface project due a week after starting. After this there weren't to many homeworks which were all paragraph style writeups. There was one midterm which required a lot of memorizing and no final. The book was helpful to do the homeworks well. The final project was challenging and there was a 4000 word document requirement to go along with it as well as a presenation of the project. The class was to early. |

| course comments : | The material for this class is downright fascinating. It isn't easy stuff, and LISP is a terrible programming language, but this introduction to AI is well worth the effort. |

| class comments : | A good deal of homework and some tough programming assignments. Lectures were usually interesting, except for a few of the times when St. Amant wasn't able to be there. |
