Read the following authors: Márquez(Latin America - Chronicle of a death foretold), Mo Yan(China - novel "Red Sorghum), Yvonne Vera (Zimbabwe - The Stone Virgins), Kawabata (Japan - Thousand Cranes), Mahfouz (Egypt), Guillen, Borges, Walcott, Achebe, Ngugi Wa Thiong'o, Iraq lit., Confucious, Lao Tzu, Buddhism, Jack Mapanje, Grace Nichols, Jean Rhys, Nicanor Parra, and some other ones. | instructor comments : | Hilarious man.... from Nigeria, fought in Nigerian Civil Wars. some people didn't get his ideas because he has a unique way of making points; just pay attention, and you'll see that he's a brilliant guy with a wonderful sense of humor. I cracked up laughing almost every lecture. |
