| course comments : | This is such a BS class that the university makes you take, it's just high school english instead you're paying a lot more for it. We actually didn't learn anything knew in the class. |

| class comments : | The course material wasn't too great, it was "learning to write in the disciplines" but I don't think anyone truly knew the disciplines after the classs. The class was easy, but papers are graded with a fine tooth comb. There were about 2 guys for every girl in the class. |

| instructor comments : | Elder wasn't very enthusiastic about the course, and that showed. He also had a very strange sense of humor and loved Edgar Allan Poe. He graded the papers harshly, but one time did give us a free quiz grade. He gives quizes on content that doesn't make sense without explaining it. |

| class comments : | The class was ok. You learn different writing styles (writing in the disciplines), which I found pretty interesting. Two of the papers are super easy which should be the first and last ones because all you have to do is follow directions. The middle two papers uses a lot more of analysis (bs). Final project is easy and fun. |

| instructor comments : | Really great teacher. He's pretty dorky, but that's what makes him so kewl. Our whole class pretty much loves him. He does grade pretty hard, but if you talk to him for help on your paper or what he's looking for, then you should do well on papers. He gives a lot of extra credit quizzes, which are super random, but they're fun as hell. lol. Pretty much, if you answer the question you get credit. |
