| course comments : | I think that many of us should be required to take this course as seeing that it covers issues that will have drastic effects on some of our lives. |

| class comments : | Can be boring at times, and being early in the day doesn't help. You get to watch a few videos, and the tests are VERY VERY similar to the practice tests given in the course pack and on the webpage for the class. The Final was hard as hell compared to the regular tests, so be sure to study your ass off!!! |

| instructor comments : | Very excellent instructor for the genetics course he teaches. He's got a lot of credentials on his resumé, and he'll mention a few as they take him away from class (meaning you get to see a video). He's a friendly guy, tries to be humorous, but does a good job conveying the importance of the material he teaches. |

| class comments : | It's an ok class but became progressively more boring and many folks couldn't resist napping during the lecture. He just speaks so slowly, I feel we could have covered the material more thoroughly in class. The tests seemed to try to catch you off guard with some very minute, difficult to recall questions even if you studied quite a bit. The work load's fine though as long as you stay on top of the tests. |

He also gives the impression that he thinks very highly of himself...like he's the all knowing geneticist. Oh yeah, and he thinks he's pretty clever...but he did teach the material pretty well so I'll go easy on him. |

| class comments : | loved it classes never let out early. if you come to class you'll get an A. doest count attendance. you don't need to buy the HUGE expensive book i got an A+ with just the course pack. Example exams are a MUST. |

| class comments : | Excellent information about genetics and how it affects people. Not much work, three article reviews over the semester and an 8-10 page paper. Class is worth going to. Tests are exactly like the practice ones he gives you. |

| class comments : | Going to class was worthless. I went every day and he did random attendence checks but they were worth 5 pts on each test- but you have to teach your self the material for the tests. I had an A all year and then blew it on the final. The test and the final are all open ended questions and can be tricky to answer if you didn't study the old test. |

| instructor comments : | He seemed sooo nice! and I even went to get help for my big paper topic durring his office hours and he was so in love with genetics and he was nice- but his classes were SO borring! If I was doing another subject then I would doze off. He talked about a lot of personal stories ans examples of genetic diseases which by the end of class blended together. But he really is a nice guy! |
